Tim- Nice Wagner! As I recall the orange background Honus was the toughest of the 4 for me to find. Greens and blues are out there, red was tough but orange for this player was very hard to find.

I picked up this bat, a HOF sidewritten 1921 Bill (Wm) McKechnie Gamer. During bidding i began research, because at first it didnt make sense why McKechnie would have a gamer in 1921, as to he didnt start coaching Pittsburgh till 1923, well the Block Letter Lober, played in the AA (milwaukee) , and sure enough research showed Bill played that very same year in AA (Minneapolis) .....nice HOF gamer at a steal....

I just recently decided to start up my Addie Joss collection, again. When I saw 'Skydash' on the flip, I knew I must have it. One of the most fascinating threads of all time, and now I own, and cherish, a small part of it...

I have been looking for a good price on this one for a while and happened to find one a couple weeks ago. Finally got it scanned yesterday.

Gotta love the "English" stats for Sisler.
I always thought he hit .420 in 1922, but they are right: 246/586 = .41979.

Thanks to Brian P for the heads up on this auction. Been wanting one for years and years without the $1,000+ price tag. While just "slightly" trimmed, it is a great placeholder. - Bill
