Default 2013 Turkey Red

Anyone preorder the 2013 Topps Turkey Red off of topps.com ? I just ordered 2 boxes. Maybe those old timers over in the Vintage/Prewar section might even like these cards pretty pumped to get the boxes. 1 Auto per pack for $20.

Default Sold Out

I just checked it out and the boxes are sold out. Wish I would have known about it. $20 would have been worth a look.

Are they regular card sized or jumbo like the originals?

They are regular sized cards. Also, the pictures are photos, unlike the issues from a few years back that had the art-type picture on them. It would be really cool if Topps would produce a set true to the originals.

yes they are photos but have been photo shopped or something to try to give it the "artsy" look they aren't really straight HD photos.

yea, those do look "artsy". They seem clearer than the past. Must have been the smaller pics I had seen. The Josh Hamilton look like a photo. Thanks for posting a nicer pic!

They use something similar to Photo Shop's posterization effect, Turkey Red are my favorite Topps issues next to Allen & Ginter and Gypsy Queen.

If they would have done a base boxed set + 1 auto, I'd have bought one for the set. Hopefully case breakers will bust a ton and list complete sets. I have no interest in building it piece by piece
