Default Jeter auto, authentic?

I bought a lot of autographed cards and this was in there. You think its any good? The other ones were certified but the seller claimed he was too lazy to get the Jeter certified. It is just a weird card to get autographed.

I don't like the context either. Weren't these cards in basically every pack of 2005 Upper Deck? So, essentially, you could bust a box, get 36 of them, and then practice your fake Jeter autos?

The autograph looks really close to me, but something about it seems a little slow/deliberate. If I owned it, I'd probably have it authenticated. I think it's 60/40 likely to pass muster.

Don't like at all, besides-if you are going to get Jeter's autograph, why would you get it signed on that? I wonder if it was Ghost signed TTM.

So the seller was too lazy to get probably the most valuable card certified but had ambition to send the other ones in? Sounds completely bogus to me.

" Too lazy to get certified " = forgery in my opinion.

Yea, that's garbage. Don't waste money on authenticating.
