Been pretty slow for me lately but have been managing the odd CDN (one U.S) pick up here and there.

Also decided to take a better scan of my rough Tony Esposito RC, which seem to be relatively hot lately. I've had this one since I was a kid but can't remember if I pulled it myself or not? (not likely)

Also decided to grab a Alex Ovechkin Parkhurst RC as his Young Guns RC has gone through the roof lately.
I also have a Sidney Crosby Parkhurst RC on the way due to the same issue.

Always enjoy your shows, especially like that Mikita. But, is it just me, or does Gainey look like he is being booked for minor possession?

Thank you!

I always enjoy your posts as well.

Yeah, it is definitely a different pic of Mr. Gainey. Like you said, either a mug shot for a crime or he thought he was getting his pic taken for a driver's license or something similar where they tell you to look straight ahead and don't smile.

Any other card that I have seen in the set, pretty much everyone else either has a smile or grin or is looking away a bit.

I'm sure, since this is his RC, he likely wishes it didn't turn out like that?

There are 2 JD McCarthy Bucyk cards. This is the more difficult one to find.

Thanks, Rob.

When I first noticed the photo of it, I didn't think the centering was as good as it was (phone pic) but was more than happy to see it was much better than what I was expecting.
Prior to this one I was chasing a 7.5 but the person was firm on their price despite some print defects on the front.
I gave up and luckily found this one much cheaper and in much better looking condition, imo.
(recent 68-69 OPC that just arrived below in likely G-VG condition)

Nice looking card. I have a nice raw one but your centering is definitely way better.

Why in the H E (double hockey sticks) would I pay $2.57 each for these beat up 1969-70 OPC hockey cards?

Another Orr p/u. This card is surprisingly hard to find centered and when you do, usually a justified premium is added.

Although it is not perfect, I was lucky enough to find this one at a great price.

A new addition but before I post pics, I have to acknowledge the best seller I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with on EBay in, texasholdem.

I purchased this mint looking OPC 68 Eddie Shack card just the other day and although it was described as nrmt, the seller, prior to shipping the card to me, noticed a very tiny wrinkle by the Boston Bruins logo in the top left corner, so when I received my card today, the full purchase amount, plus shipping, was included with the card.
If the seller never pointed out this tiny, little, almost invisible to see, wrinkle, it is highly unlikely I would have ever noticed it.

Texas sells Baseball cards, hockey, and an assortment of other sport occasionally and I highly recommend him for those looking to add to their collections. Tex goes above and beyond every time and his feed back is reflected in that. And no, for the record, I do not know him on a personal level nor have I ever met him.

Default A Redemption Saga

Back in 2012 I purchased a box of 2012-13 Totally Certified Basketball. To my surprise I pulled one of the best cards.

I quickly submitted my redemption. Couldn't wait to get my prize, but a few years passed and nothing happened. After numerous attempts to contact someone about my situation, I was told it wasn't happening. I requested a replacement repeatedly. Finally a rep told me they would send what they had. I figured something would be better than NOTHING.

They sent me the card, but it was never completed... so it didn't work. What made it worse was the fingernail imprint on the start button, indicating that someone was trying to turn the card on.

I gave up on them. Fast forward to the day before yesterday, 1/13/21. I receive an email that my card was on the way. HOLY SMOKE! Could this be true? I went to the Panini website after an absence of many years. It was true...

They were Fedexing it overnight! Unbelieveable! I should have known better... high hopes crashed. Received this... A Kobe Bryant Redemption Pack!

So I opened the pack... All cards are Prizm.
Jae Crowder, Snakeskin Purple #23/24; Nicholas Batum, Snakeskin Purple #24/24; Cameron Johnson, Snakeskin Purple RC #24/24;Kyrie Irving, Snakeskin Purple & Gold #5/20; Rui Hachimura, Snakeskin Purple & Gold RC #8/20; Kobe Bryant, Gold #1/8. It's finally over... 8+ years.🤯

THE END

These redemptions are so messed up. I hate them. But at least you got something extra out of it.

I had an email this week from Topps. Apparently, I was owed another baseball card from the 2020 Dodgers Topps Now post-season set I purchased. I guess they finally got around to it...in 2021.

Oh, I almost forgot this:

It is said this is the very first Jordan card issued.

It sells for about 10 percent of an 86 Fleer in the same grade. Makes sense.
