Default 1962 sample ad Mantle mini blank back reprint?

Hello, I have a mini card that I discovered that seems to be like a sample ad card only smaller (just under under 2x3) and the back is a bit more glossy and colored almost like how one would describe the appearance of a magnet on the back of a photo (but is not a magnet). Does anyone have a clue as to what this is or where it may have come from, whether authentic or not? They appear possibly hand cut but if so was an extremely well done job. Attachments provided (referencing card on left).

Default Minis

The dimensions you give would be larger, but some time back someone was cutting photos out of Topps Surf books and other publications and affixing them to card board backing , often with a stamp on the back that said "Topps Promotional Sample". An example, the same 62 Mantle, is listed and pictured in the SCD Standard Catalog in front of the listings for the 60s sets, and is labeled as a fake. I bought one on eBay as an example, mine is an Aaron. My guess is that what you have is something like that

thanks for the response. That gives me a pretty good idea of the authenticity of the piece.

I agree with Al. The samples were full sized and have detailed advertising on the back. These were cut from something more modern and aren't worth anything.
