Default Thinking about selling a partial set

I have a nearly complete 1972 Topps set that I'm thinking about selling. I'm not sure if it would be better to sell it all at once or break it up into lots.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would say it depends on what you have. If you have a lot of stars and high numbers, I would say break it up.

The set is missing about 60% of the high numbers. The other series are complete.

What condition are the HOFs/Hi#s in? You may want to have those PSA graded on a bulk special to maximize value. You can look at the PSA website to see previous sale values of cards graded 8 and 9 or so if you think your cards are mint and well-centered to see if it's worth grading them.

I think you're probably best off to sell the high numbers individually, after comparing values on COMC. Then maybe team sets for the remainder?

Default A few things to consider.....

You would probably needed 9 or 10 quality to consider subbing to PSA, 8s just not worth the fee $.

The lower number cards would be hard to sell individually on eBay or wherever b/c most of them are worth well under a buck.....

Consider how much time you want spend scanning, listing, shipping, etc. If I were you I would figure out a price you can live with and try to sell a one lot. If you can't get a reasonable offer then look at breaking it up to get what you need.... Good luck.....
