Default 1949 LA Rams Photos

Posted By: MIke McKee

Anyone know these guys from the 1949 Rams team.

Have had these for sometime and have not been able to id them.

Any of you Rams collectors know them?

The 3 guys running photo is dated Nov 25, 1949 from the LA Times.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Mike

I loaded them into photo bucket and thought that was it but I guess there is another step. Figured I would look at it tonight.

Thanks

Do the players have visible uniform numbers?

Matt,

Once the photo is "uploaded" into your photobucket, you have to "copy" the URL in the little box that has a URL in it. Then paste that URL into your message. Make sure to "preview" your message.

This took me a while to understand how this Photobucket works.

I am not a tech guy, just a guy who posts to this board.

Well, going by the only '49 Rams roster I have, the single runner photo, as well as the runner on the left in the bottom photo (#9) would be Gerry Cowhig (Fullback), the runner in the center of the bottom photo (#31 it looks like) would be Dick Hoerner, also a fullback. Assuming the third runner is also a fullback, because I cannot read his number and he doesn't look familiar, he "could" be Bob Agler (#30), the third fullback on the Rams at that time. The players in the top photo don't appear to be Rams players.
