Default Ruth thoughts?

any opinions on this one? MGA Michael Gutierrez says its real. On a ford frick ball. Signature bleeds alot. Thoughts? And if authentic wouldnt this ball be worth more than a "buy it now" price of $2998......????????

If I remember correctly, it's not the first time it's been offered for sale somewhere in the last year or two, and asked about here.

Was not even thinking of buying!!!! It just kills me what people try to sell on ebay sometimes. Even more the line of uninformed people who blindly buy this crap...There are some respectful dealers for sure on ebay but far and few between for sure.

i have seen it before as well. If this were authentic wouldnt it be somewhere else than Ebay for 2998? Im guessing a larger auction site for closer to 50 to 75k.

It wouldn't be anywhere near that amount, but doesn't matter anyways because it is worth zero. I am personally in the camp that more of the single signed Ruth balls out there are fake than people think. When I bought a really nice one, I focused on one that had other writing and a couple other signatures as they helped make me feel more confident in its authenticity, and it still displayed like a single.
