Default 1951 Bowman George Kell

I have been on a long expensive quest to collect all HOF'ers in the '51 Bowman set. Recently, I picked up a nice raw George Kell and was surprised, when inspecting the reverse, to see it stated series 1941 rather than the expected '51.
Is this an error card, variation or what. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

I believe every 1951 Bowman George Kell card has 1941 on the back.

Yes, my Kell also has "1941" series on the back. Weird. Never noticed that before.

It's an uncorrected error. Very nice card from a neat set.
