Awesome photos Ben, those are some of the best out there.

I remember about 5-7 years ago Henry sold a large pitching example on ebay that I still think about sometimes. I havent seen it pop up since but I remember it was amazing quality. I think it was from Dick Hoblitzell's estate and was from a local photographer (Harris maybe) and I would love to see that one again. Do you remember the one I am talking about?

I seem to remember it was large (7x9 or so) and had clipped corners I think. I will look around. I bid about $2000 and thought I had it in the bag and got outbid for what was (at the time) a CRAZY price of like $2300.

Would have been 2011 (possibly late 2010). I still have Hoblitzell's Red Sox scrapbook with the spot it was removed from but it was taken out before I bought the collection. I am positive it was when Henry was selling on ebay still, but I havent seen it since.

Regardless, the horizontal pitching pose you posted would be my pick as well, the larger background seems to frame him better than most!

Thank you sir. Here is one with Graig Kreindler and the Babe. I am sure some of you have asked yourself, “how can Graig paint all these old guys so well? It as if he was there viewing their expressions first hand. “‘Now you know.

Photo matched by the shoes.
