Trying to post an image, but the upload function refuses to work. Am I forgetting something (again)?

Be sure the image isn't too big and it's a jpeg file....otherwise it should work....lmk and I will help you if need be....later

Hey Tim, glad to see you posting here. Along with what Leon has suggested, make sure the title of your jpg file isnt too long, and there arent any spaces, dashes, etc. Otherwise the scan won't load. Also, if you are using Mozilla firefox, that would also cause the uploading problem...if that's the case, try again with internet explorer and it should work.

Ben's right. I have had numerous problems whenever I put in a dash or period or space or anything in the file name....it needs to be clean....like t206.jpeg however something like t-206.jpeg will not work, usually....good luck...

1) image should be less than 120 kb--Although I snuck one in at 175.
2) Did you sign in? Of course you did.
3) "not too long" a title means 8 characters or less
4) "plain" means only numbers and letters, and no spaces between them.
5) Your Network 54 "holding pen" will only hold about 1000 KB. Them you have to belong to another group (like the Vintage Photography Forum!) that will allow you to ERASE images you have chosen for uploading, or wait for the week's duration to run out--in other words, your file may be full. Erasing them wil NOT cause them to immediately disappear from where you have posted them.

Yes, it's especially sneaky because you can attach ones with long titles to e-mails, or save them in your private storage space--and then you go to try to post them on Net54, and you have to whittle the title down to 8 characters--which you have to do where you store your images, in your documents or basebasll card or pictures file or whatever. You can't change the length of a title in that little net54 space you have.

maybe its just a fluke for me but I have been able to post pics when the title was longer than 8 characters and I dont know if it has anything to do with it or not but when I do post a pic, I do it manually with html code. Maybe that is the difference I dont know but I havent had a problem doing such and maybe I am way off base in my thought that entering it manually makes a difference when it really doesnt and isnt the issue.
