Default brown sharpie on a ball

I just got this off ebay and it was clean in the add but when I got it it had what appears to be brown sharpie ink on the plastic case and on the ball. Any suggestions to get it off?
thanks

He probably posted the image from the auction--which didn't have the brown spot--while this is what arrived.

It turns out it wasn't on the ball when it was on ebay. The plastic cover had it on it as well and it wiped off with my finger. I took a Mr. Clean magic eraser and 90% of the mark came off the ball so I am ok with it. Bought both balls from Goodwill Seattle off ebay.
