Default HELP NEEDED WITH N173 BROUTHERS POSE

Posted By: Jay Miller

Joe G. has pointed out to me that the SCD Old Judge cabinet listing (N173s) includes a horizontal catching pose of Dan Brouthers. I have never seen this pose and called Bob Lemke to ask about the source of the listing. He said he probably saw the image in some old catalog but could not recall where. Through this post I am soliciting the help of board members--if any of you have seen this pose or, better still, have an image of the pose please contact me (curl777@aol.com). I would like to verify its existence before adding it to the Cartophilic Society Listing.

I hope something surfaces if it exists. In my skewed little world, such a card would be an exciting find.

Talked to Lew Lipset today and he cannot recall seeing a horizontal Brouthers N173. The mystery grows.

Default HELP NEEDED WITH N173 BROUTHERS POSE

Posted By: Harry

There are very vew horizontal poses in N173 with those of Hall of Famers being few and far between. I would think that if this pose did exist, it would stick out like a sore thumb in advanced collectors minds. The fact that none can ever remember seeing or hearing of this pose leads me to believe that it does not exist.
