Default 1963 Pirates IDL

re: Sole's Pharmacy stamp on the back of 1963 Pirates IDL cards

Is there any premium for IDL cards with the Sole's Pharmacy back stamp—are they rare? Does SGC/PSA differentiate when grading them—will they note it on the flip?

Thanks.

Alan

Alan:

My guess is that they are rare but a premium would likely be minimal since there is a very small market for these cards to begin with.

Phil,

Thanks for the reply. I am 4 cards away from putting together the set in blank back—I have 22 of 26—and I have a couple of cards with Sole's Pharmacy stamps on the back. I will probably try to piece together the set with Sole's Pharmacy backstamps. That should keep me busy for a good long while. It's a fun set that doesn't get much love.

That's cool, Alan. I like the set too but only have the Stargell because it is a Rookie.

Good luck in your quest!

An affordable rookie! I love "Pops". His inclusion is what attracted me to the set to begin with; also Clemente—who I don't have yet.
