Default Players with little known career notes

I don't know how else to title this thread but I'm looking for interesting little tidbits like this:

Did you know Tom Seaver was drafted twice by two different teams before he was eventually signed by the Mets? He was originally drafted by the Dodgers but did not sign. Then he was drafted by the Braves but the draft pick was voided. Only after being drafted twice did he sign with the Mets.

I have a "Topps: Throughout the Years" collection that has 1 card from every year Topps has made cards, with the goal being to show the different designs. The catch is each player has an interesting fact associated with them. It's not complete yet, but a majority of it is.

I'll have to pull up my spreadsheet later and share some.
