Default Who Needs Google? Post Your Informative Book Collections here!

Just finally completing my move to the new house, and have started to bring over my sports items slowly.

The first thing I decided to bring/organize were my informative books/guides.

I thought it was pretty cool how far I had come in the research department (disregard the auction catalogs that are stacked up).

I am sure this is nothing compared to other information book libraries of Net members, but thought this would be a cool topic to show off!

I also want to thank the Net54 members whom have contributed to these books, as you have made it a lot easier to learn the hobby.

Show off your book collections (biographies don't count in this instance).

I'll start off with this...

Okay, I'll bite. I'm much more of a non-sports collector than a sports collector, but I do love hobby reference material. The bottom shelf is about 1/3 of a near complete Wrapper magazine run. I pitch most auction catalogs, but there are two Hakes and one REA in there.

Default If you would like to add to your informative book collection this Christmas ...

Perchance you would like to add to your informative book collection this Christmas or Hanukkah season?

If you would allow a book about immediate postwar items, may I recommend my own book, NEVER CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN -- Those Special 'Free Prize' Sports Collectibles from the Golden Era of 1947 - 1971. It's an E-book on a CD, 478 pages long, with an easy on the eye font.

Google the book title for the press release, containing basic info and cards / sets covered.

Postwar regional / food is a tough, beautiful, and often expensive niche.

If you're you're ready to buy, or have your wife buy for you, send me a $30 money order. My address is

Brian Powell
P. O. Box 743
New Carlisle, Indiana 46552

The feedback I've received thus far is very positive, for which I'm mighty gratified. 'Nuf said.

Have a swell day. ---Brian Powell

Here are most of my baseball books:

And many of my collecting books, along with some of my albums (mostly trade cards, but some baseball). This does not include any of my hobby publications, which are mostly in boxes and stacks.

Nice libraries guys. I will have to get some pictures of my disaster of a resource room (large closet) I have. May of the things in my collection can't be googled as well as I am sure others have items not found in Google too, (unless it comes back to our forum, which those searches often do.)
