Default t206 Clarke batting scan needed for web-site

Posted By: runscott

I just found the "original" photo for Fred Clarke batting (Pitt.), but I don't have the t206 - could someone please send me a scan of the front for use on the "t206 origins" page? It would be great to get some new names on the page for credits! I think I'm up to 16 cards now - goal is 100 by Christmas. I also need Ginger Beaumont,Cobb bat on and Harry Stovall portrait scans. Thanks!

It's amazing - looking at the b&w photos, most of the time you would never relate them to the final cropped color card. I must have looked at this Clarke photo a hundred times and never noticed!

Also, in my searching I have run across several of the original photos used in pre-wwI caramel card issues - great project for someone else though!

Scott,
I have a Clarke, bat on, with a Hindu back, PSA 5. Phenomenal card. I also have a Beaumont card, common back, PRO 7. Let me know if either would work for you. Not sure if you use scans of slabbed cards or not. Could have scans for you in a couple of days, tops.

Slabbed cards are fine - I'll just crop the card image. I don't need back scans though.
