Thanks for the kind words and you are 100% correct! I am proud of mine, its just my timing of posts that sucks!! I think I'm doing ok, especially since I haven't been at it for too long. As I knock out the early/easier ones and I progress, start to upgrade some, I think it will only get better and better.

+1 Greg - you seem to be well-focused with the HOF'er-signed cards.

Here's a 1949 Musial signature with affixed 1948 rookie card:

I'm working on a project collecting signed 1983 Topps cards (when possible!) from all the players, managers and umpires from my very first baseball game. I saw the Twins and the Indians at the Metrodome in 1983. Here are the players I have accumulated so far. They have all been eBay pickups.

These are the umpires and the Twins' manager:

Here is the box score:

I still have my eye out for a few more and a couple I am trying TTM. Hopefully, the end result will be a nice framed piece with these cards and the original ticket stubs my dad I have from the game.

Added a couple of new items from the recent Hunt Auction. Great prices in this one!

Added #222 with Tony Lazzeri and an Indianapolis Indians (team signed) ball including Roger Maris. Being in Indianapolis, this was a big one I wanted to add!

True, plus a lot of us are merely 'renting' most of our collection, especially those of us who buy and sell for a living.
