Default KSA Grading

I talking to a dealer in Canada about a group of cards he has that are graded
by KSA. He says that KSA is a Canadian grading service that is very much like PSA. The photos of the cards look nice. Does anyone have any experience
or know anything about KSA grading?

KSA was similar to PSA when grading first came out, their flips are similar, they used to be strict graders.

Over the years, their reliability has gone way down and their grades have gone up to a point where most do not trust them anymore.

If the cards are hockey, then i would feel ok accepting them. But i wouldn't trust them for anything else.

Yes i own a couple KSA graded cards as that was readily available for a long time here in Canada.

This card does not reflect well on KSA. I would be very careful. Some older graded Hockey maybe okay but this one is really trimmed. Check out the number on the front of the card as it is almost trimmed off. There is a thread in the Hockey forum about this card and KSA grading. I purchased 1 Hockey card from KSA a few years back and it will be my last.

Jim and Michael thanks for your help.I decided to wade in slowly. Instead of purchasing the complete group I purchased just one KSA 6 card. After I receive it and check it out I'll make a decision about purchasing any of the other cards.

Thanks,
Keith
