Default Say Hey! Willie Mays is 86 today

I'm still coming to grips with the fact that Willie Mays is an octogenarian and that I'll probably never own a pre-1954 Mays card. Here's my Mays collection. Hard to pick a favorite Mays card -- maybe 1972 because I can actually remember getting one in a wax pack as a 7-year-old.

Neat collection. I have had some Mays cards but none now.and just found this one in a stack behind my desk, though it isn't a base card, and it looks like you have it too. Definitely 3 greats hitters on this card.

That is one of my all-time favorite cards. Clemente was my favorite player, with Mays and Aaron basically tied for second. It's the only Topps card to include all three.

Here's something you don't see at a card show:

Willie smiling.

Greatest living ballplayer...Happy Birthday.

Great Willie Mays everyone ! Nice to see mr.Mays get some hobby love. Leon I know your a pre war guy . But this is shocking to me that the man who runs the best card forum does not own a better Mays.

He was the best all around player of all time...hitting, running, fielding, and throwing. The '66 is my favorite card of his as well. I have a PSA-9.
