I don't know anything about punk compared to these young guys...I'm just an old hippie from the 60's

Thanks Dan, you're the best...that's the music I grew up on. I was 13 in 1965!

Does Bobby's actions really surprise anyone that witness him go after me because I got tired of his constant pimping of his site on the board? He wanted a poll run to see if I should be banned or not. He showed me his true colors during that incident. This doesn't surprise me in the least.

Um Hi. The thread hijack is cute and funny and all, but I'd prefer if this one could stay on topic. As much as I agree that food and punk history make for much better discussions, I ask that you not trivialize this. I understand some people don't like this thread to begin with, and they shouldn't take part if that's the case. Yes, I'm humorless at the moment, but I do appreciate the consideration, if possible. Thanks.

And to think I was considered the major problem for thread hijacking. Seems we know who the real culprits are since they seem to the same ones that pull stunt with every thread that isn't to their liking.

Dan Bretta's posting of the Zombies(She's Not There) was the ONLY productive thing to come out of this farce, at least that was educational and other than that, this IS a waste of time and energy.

If you didn't see it, check one of my posts above. Had a link to show the general area of where an IP address is originating from. Plugged the one Bobby posted in there and it's nowhere near you.

THERRRE'S Jay! Hi Jay. So I was right - it was you that called him out for using the main thread as an advertisement. I forgot about the "Poll to Ban Jay" suggestion. Yeesh. Maybe a "Poll to Ban Thinly Disguised Commercial Promotion" would be better.

I also wouldn't mind seeing this one stay on topic a bit too. There have been some serious accusations, and it seems Barak has answered from his end.

However, to be fair (even though I'm biased as noted above), Bobby hasn't posted to this thread in several hours. It's Sunday night and some people make family or rest use of their Sunday evenings. He does deserve the opportunity to address the questions about screen shots, different location of IP address, different IP address for Barak's posts here, etc. We should give him that chance.

Just my opinion.

Joann

Hi Barak:

So you want to get back on topic?

Maybe we can clear up something. VCP has been charged with violating your privacy by publishing your name. But as I understand it (deleted at request of the poster) isn't really your full name and if one were to try to locate you under that name they could not.

Would you like to comment?

Steve M.

Understanding your perspective, there's little reason to bump the thread then.

Jay,

Bingo!!!!!

And to think when I joined here and in the early days I thought you were the bad guy.

It is Bretta and his belittling others for not making the great contributions he makes--punk rock and changing subjects fron serious subjects to the one thing he knows something about...punk rock and how to find it on u tube.

Steve, I have a question - you are a lawyer correct? - I'm wondering why above you gave just as much credence to Bobby writing down a bunch of numbers which could easily be fabricated to edacra's screenshot of his request for cancellation?

I still read, but rarely post. It just proves that the board hasn't gotten any better by me not posting. You still have everything occurring that I was accused of being the instigator of. So those of you that were so willing to take me task for going off topic all time, why aren't you acting the way towards Barry and the others that always very off topic? (No offense meant towards you Barry. You are OK in my book. Just pointing out the hypocracy of the board.)

Arrggh. Dan contributes regularly to this board. He answers all kinds of questions, particularly in the area of photo ID's and early baseball in the Great Plains (Nebraska in particular). He knows a lot about non-MLB vintage baseball including local and minor league teams. He has jumped in countless times to help out and add to threads in a meaningful way that I can only aspire to.

Punk rock and YouTube as his only posts? Wow.

He said he was from NY,NY earlier. I easily found his name in New York on one site. Tried to paste the link but it hooked up to a totally different search on that site. Just did a search for him on another site and got his name, address, and number which I will not post.

I don't understand where you are going with this whole bit about him not being able to be looked up and questioning his name. Unless of course you are talking with Bobby offline and he's telling you more information that is probably incorrect.

yeah Steve what gives.....are you representing vintagecardpricing or something ? I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think I need to see anymore "evidence" whether it be real or made up, to form an opinion as to what happened here.

"But as I understand it Barak XXXXX isn't really your full name and if one were to try to locate you under that name they could not."
================================================== =================================================

When I read the above statement by you, I read it as you questioning if he even used his real name. That's how I read it. If I'm wrong on that, I apologize.

ARCADE-I was simply looking into the validity of the statement. Nothing I've seen online is going to be posted here, other than the location of the false IP address Bobby posted.

Well now everyone is doing a background check on me after you implied I have a fictitious name.

Yeah I told you to "piss off"....are you going out of your way to justify the tone I took with you? As for who you decide to do business with, and how they treat you - play at your own risk.

If you read it. The IP address that Bobby posted on here, claiming that it was a log of arcade logging into his site, originates to the northeast of Wichita, KS. Arcade posted above what city, state he lives in and it is not KS, far from it. The IP address is not necessarily 'false', if you're looking to play with words, but it is not the one belonging to arcade.

The fact of the matter is you didn't really have any reason to tell Steve to "piss off" to begin with...you were the one claiming how honorable and mannerly you've been....then you stooped to that level with someone that was just trying to make some sense out of all this
