Default Anybody surprised by the final price on this E-104?

Posted By: Dave

I forgot all about this auction...or else I think I would have made an attempt at the card anyway..who knows how much the high bidder had in it...but $255 to me seems like a steal....anyone?

Edited to say I see Bruce won...congrats on a nice pickup!

In an SGC 30 it probably sold for what it should have. If it had the "World Champions" overprint, it would have sold for 3 times the price. Although the e104-1's are tough to come by it seems that they have been more abundant as of late.

I've seen two other Oldring's sold in this grade the past few months. This one didn't get anywhere close to those two. I was the underbidder on this card and am now really kicking myself for not having bid a little more aggressively. At least it went to a friend of mine Great pickup Bruce!

Thanks guys. I was a bit surprised at the price as well as my snipe was much higher. In my opinion, it was a very low end '2' due to the creases, but I can't complain about what I got it for. Brian, I think we may have to start colluding on some auctions as we always seem to be chasing the same cards and costing each other money.

The price of e104-1 commons peaked a couple of years ago and have consisently become cheaper since then....and I like it!

Nice card Bruce.
