All I want is a 2 minute escape from work now and then to look at baseball cards and read/learn about a hobby I enjoy. Being bombarded with these immature back and forths is not much fun nor not much of an escape.

However, it seems that a great many of you enjoy such bull****. That being said, to best serve your needs, why don't we set up a separate forum for bitching - perhaps we can call it the "Net 54 Vintage Bitching Forum for Those Who Have Nothing Better to Do".

That way those of us who enjoy looking at pictures of guys long since deceased on little pieces of cardboard can do so uninterrupted.

It's a bad idea. The "bitching" forum would soon get all the attention and there would be nobody left to post on the main forum.

I hear you..I come here for escape and fun...not some mad rantings....but do what I do..just skip over it or ignore them..I know its harder when a thread is hi-jacked..but you can learn to do selective scanning and reading like I do...I try to pretend not to see what I don't want to read

The idea was that everyone takes a break from their pressure jobs to talk about cards, but because this hobby/industry is unregulated in most respects and a tremendous amount of money is involved, there becomes a lot of tension.

This forum is actually more entertainment than anything else.

Hey everyone reading all the complaints and personal attacks is more fun than watching the 3 Stooges. All those threads need is a few:

NYAACK, NYAACK, NYAACK - MY HIGH GRADE CARDS ARE BETTER and some WHHOP WHHOP WHOOP MO, LARRY CHEESE MY BEATERS RULE and the entertainment would be complete.
