Default T207 Display Issue

I have a complete team set of Tigers. The set includes 11 cards. All are SGC graded. I went to my favorite frame store and have ordered a display that measures about 24x18 and contains two cut-outs which will hold 6 cards each in the slabs and also show the backs. QUESTION: What should I put in the 12th slot? You may be wondering why did I have 12 slots? So am I. I had an extra card in the stack that I counted six times. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks.

How about getting one more Tiger T207 (can be a common to save yourself some $$) and flip it around to display the back?

Get a nice tiger with an anon or other rare back and display that in the 12th position.

Would an old pack of Recruit Little Cigars or other brand fit?

Default T207s

Great collection. Congrats. There are a couple of very tough cards in that team set.

I'd go with a Recruit box front in that last space. Another option would be a Tigers old english "D" or perhaps the George Mullin variation without the "D" for the 12th card.

I hope you post a photo when it's done!

Default T207

Congrats!. How about hitting Canfield up for an empty pack for the empty slot in the display? I am sure he can tell you how to find one from this era?

Display the back of one card. I had my T207 Cub set displayed this way and it looked great.

That's an easy one, put Germany Schaefer into the 12th slot.

All very good ideas. I kind of like the old English D idea myself....plus it's free which is a bonus.

Thanks for all the great ideas. I think I'm going with the package idea. I like the English D too. I'll try both and see what it looks like. When finished I will post a picture.

Default For your T207 display

There's an eBay auction for an empty pack (shell) of Recruit Little Cigars. That would be a nice addition to have the pack that these cards were distributed in.

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/360674351603?...84.m1436.l2661

Very low BIN price.

Sent you a PM also.
