Default LOw grade Helmar Tobacco poster

Posted By: T E

Hi again to the most helpful board in the universe! This is not bb, but it is tobacco so I thought this would be a good place to come. I've got this low grade Helmar poster.

It is glued to its backing though it is peeling away a bit at the corners. It clearly is authentic. Poster measures 26" by 18" with frame adding another two inches each way. Any ideas on age? Market?

Thanks!

But that is a great item. I can see Brockleman jumping all over this one. That is if he is still after anything Ramly.

but since it doesn't depict a ball player and given its condition I think it would have little value.

I think Steve is in the ballpark agewise. I've seen these go for around $300-500 in decent condition.

Hi Guys,
This would probably bring 75-150 in this condition, especially if the frame is original. Be well Brian

These are desirable in nice condition but this one may be beyond reasonable conservation. $150 seems like a fair estimate.

I figured that this item would go for decent money even with the condition that it is in just because of a slight connection with Ramly. I do have the right product in mind don't I?
I guess I need to mind my own business, so I don't sound so stupid on some of these things Back to the dark corner of lurking I go

Still a great item though - I think.

She's been sitting on my basement wall, guarding the shelves. Frame is original. I'd keep her on the job downstairs (she has done a fine job, none of our shelves have come up missing since she has been keeping watch) but times are tough so she has got to hit the street!

She has to hit the streets- is she a hooker?

I meant a rug hooker- you know, those people who hook shag rugs. Sorry for the confusion.
