Default Apple Watch MLB At Bat app inquiry

Hi All,

I recently purchased an Apple Watch. With the upcoming 2017 baseball season I am considering purchasing the MLB At Bat app for it.

I've heard it can be slow, but I figure since the roll out of Watch OS3 the speed might improve for this year.

Might anyone here have any firsthand experience with it? Any and all insight is much appreciated.

Best,
John

Thanks for that info. If I end up getting the app for this 2017 season, I'll report back here on how it functions. That said, I appreciate your insight, and it does make me think twice about purchasing it.

There are a lot of apps on the watch that don't make sense . But in general I like it . But remember it must be paired with the iPhone. My baby got me mine so I was happy.

Hi rjackson44,

I have an update for you, as well as a question.

I bought the At Bat App, and it is working very well so far (game 1 of spring training) on my Nike + Series 2 model.

That said, I have posted pictures of how for example my home screen looks, as opposed to a screen cap I found online. Based on that, were you ever able to pin the score and logos on the main screen of the watch when you had the app? If yes, how were you able to do so.

Best,
John

Hi john i was not able to do that no.everyone uses the applewatch for diffrent reasons.me emails calls etc.i deleted the app as i enjoy looking at the news and games on my ipad ,,i also go to cbs.com sports .its a wonderfull no b.s site with all scores and stories .john a had all these apps on my applewatch with notifications but it became crazy after a while. I will tell you what the mlb app does on the ipad does not mirror what it does on the watch .so it was a little confusing. I love my watch and i have three bands ..there are more and more apps coming out for the watch ....but i find some are just silly ..enjoy your watch john thats what makes it fun ..

Great points! Perhaps in time they'll improve the app. Either way, I very much appreciate your reply!
