Default Rod Carew's heart transplant

saw this story on CBS news the other night. I knew Rod Carew had a heart transplant recently but listen to the whole story.

I saw the story on CBS too.

It is truly a small world.

Amazing!

I am sure they gave him special treatment because of who he is rather then waiting on a list like the rest.

I seem to recall several years ago, his daughter was in need of multiple organ transplant, but wasn't having any luck finding a match.

A reminder for everyone who is willing and able to sign as an organ donor.

Amazing story. Good luck to Rod.

I do wonder, however, why a man in his 70s got a heart when plenty of people in their 40s and 50s die waiting.
