Default Horrific Ty Cobb Fake Autograph

This one is UGLY. It sold for as much as a nice, real Cobb auto, which is a shame.

eBay link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ty-cobb-aut...p2047675.l2557

Here are the images of this shaky mess.

Seller has a 14 day return window, so if you bought this, or know who did, file a claim TODAY.

Sold by Ebay seller Hedgardickson for $720.00.

This once again proves that Ebay does not enforce their own Banned COA list.

ACE (Justin Priddy) is on it....

As a computer guy, I tend to think through things logically. If someone is going to send a postcard with return address.... wouldn't they include their ADDRESS?

Or did Ty just assume everyone in the postal system knew where he was living at the time?

Also, the mail-to address is written in a different hand.

I'm not an autograph collector or expert, but there are things about this that seem inexplicable to me.

It's probably one of the funniest fakes I've seen for a while. It's a real coffee spitter I tell ya. People are so out of control with this crap.

The so called " autograph" is a rubber stamp facsimile. The rubber stamp and ink pad days ended in the early 1970's. It has to be a scam because no legit TPA would certify this crap. I have seen a few autopen and facsimile signatures certified by mistake...….but this is a rubber stamp !!

Thanks,
Steve Rhodes

A little off topic, but still relevant. Many years ago I did a show in Kansas City and I was set up right next to Justin Priddy. He seemed like a decent guy and not a scammer. As the years go on apparently he found he couldn’t compete with JSA or PSA and just produced letters for forgeries. I used to see authentic items here and there with his “cert”, but I don’t recall anything authentic that Justin has put his name on in years. Hard to believe someone would risk criminal charges and their reputation to authenticate forgeries. Nothing should surprise me

Obvious scam. How can anyone with any sense say that is even a "live signature". Garbage.

I agree wholeheartedly but I tend to think there is ZERO risk in authenticating forgeries. No one has ever been held accountable for it.

Even J Dimaggio and Jim Bellino were off scott free despite being incredible scum bag scammers during the Op bullpen days. Justin Priddy is not very Priddy. He is a big fat ugly loser.
