Nothing jumps out at me as indicating that it's bad, but I just don't know. Something about it just makes me wonder.....

looks PERFECT to me... especially notice how he loops and goes over the "d" and the "a". That's the way Ted did it from what I've seen and remember...

Hence, that when you see these same 2 letters left "open" it is most always a forgery.

Thanks guys. I bought this for my 87 year old dad 20 plus years ago when it walked into my coin shop. He is a Ted fan from way back. Even if it is not real. The look he gave me when I gave it to him was priceless. Any other opinions welcomed.

Thanks for the info on the d and a. My buddy at Savage Cards Pat thought it was ok just on an unofficial ball. And idea of average value. I figure 150-200 if real. Am I close?

Looks good to me as well. Ted made the loops on the D and the A on my ball from the 80's as well.

I think I have figured out why it is also stamped Linn. Bob Linn sporting goods store that is/was big in my area sold junk balls from Haiti marked official league with the added Linn name for Bob Linn's sporting goods.

I think so. However, if you gave it to your dad and it has traveled full circle back to you.... it certainly is priceless.
