Love that place, huge selection of everything. One could get lost in that place...and come out broke.

+1 for Ideal Baseball Cards.

When I used to live in Northern Kentucky, I went there quite often. That's actually where I bought my first two pre-war cards around 8 years ago - a Frank Isbell T206 and a 1935 Goudey 4-in-1 with Luke Appling. The owner Mike is a good guy too.

I live in the Mpls./St. Paul area now, and there are 2 card shops in the area that I would recommend:

The Ballpark Sports Cards
203 150th St. W
Apple Valley, MN 55124

and

Twin Cities Sports Cards
1200 Mendelssohn Ave. N, #104
Golden Valley, MN 55427

Not so much pre-war at both places, but plenty of 50's & up cards from all 4 major sports to select from. Plus, both owners (Cal @ the Ballpark and Rob @ Twin Cities) are good guys too.

Wow -- Bill is still around, that's great to hear! I went to the store a couple of times back in the day when at Beckett on show trips and it was a fun visit back then. Good to know, still a fun place to go to. Bill's also a real good guy!

And I've never been in this store, and don't suspect a ton of vintage but the owner and I talk all the time on FB -- and probably worth going to in the Denver Area. He does a ton of promotions and even runs occasional small shows for his customers to sell at within the store.

I briefly chatted with the person that is actually going to do this board update (hey Brian) and it is not too difficult. My guess is once back from the National we'll get this instituted not long after.
Thanks to everyone for posting current card shops so far.

In Orlando area:

Big League Cards
920 FL-436, Casselberry, FL 32707

Heavy on wax and modern singles but a good selection of vintage and oddball too. Great people. You may know the owner Alan as the Topps Rip-Master of years past. Every Friday night from 4-7 is trade night with other customers with giveaways and contests. Last Saturday of the month is "Golden Ticket" day with group breaks, giveaways, sales, etc.

Default Mt Penn Sportscards

My friend Tony Arnold, no not the big time dealer, owns a rather nice shop in berks county Pennsylvania. I have bought hundreds possibly thousands of cards from him over the years. He deals in modern thru prewar. He is a rabid collector of hartlands and has a nice collection of them. I'll edit this post with the address and phone number later.

I used to live in Denver years ago (1983-90) and went to Bill's a lot. I used to always go to a Mike's Sports Card shop in Denver, can't remember the address off hand. I wonder if this is the same guy and if he moved to Aurora. If so he is a great guy and I bought tons off him and even helped him in the store from time to time.

I used to go there back in the mid 1990s when I was stationed at Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs. I was absolutely blown away every time I walked in! I'd spend hours there, and always walked out having (happily) spent way more than I had intended going in!
