I seem to remember them usually having a June auction.

There next catalog auction is November. I don't know about the Internet auction.

We decided not to do the monthly internet auctions anymore. We decided to just concentrate on having two nice catalog auctions each year. One in May, the other November. The next one is scheduled for Nov 14th.

On another note, if anybody wants to chat, I will be at the National all week (my feet are beginning to hurt just thinking about it) so please feel free to stop by and hang out.

Thanks

Scott

I don't think that the couch is going to make an appearance this year (I think that we might have accidentally on purpose left it at the show last year), but we do have bar stools, although they are kind of hard to take naps on unless I learn to sleep like a giraffe.

Micheal, that was our thought as well

Alan, we are at booth 920 & 922. I used to live near Pikesville as I went to school at Towson.

Also, I just found out that we acquired an amazing baseball photograph collection, strong in the deadball era and that some of it will be on display there.

I will miss the monthly auctions. You say "quality versus quantity," I say "going back to big-ticket items." I loved your monthly auctions because they had quality items that were, for me, affordable. I may be in the minority here, but I cannot drop 5 figures on memorabilia. I liked seeing rarer, obscure items that could be had for under $1,000. Keep the big-ticket items for the catalog auctions, but really, how much did it take to run these smaller, internet-only auctions? I didn't feel they lowered the brand name for any reason. In fact, I saw them as a way to put a big name on a smaller item.

Same sentiment....

As Ebay becomes less and less "collector/seller friendly", it will be important to have other viable options for Memorabilia valued under $1,000.

Hunt's runs a good Internet/Phone Auction for their less expensive items, but there aren't enough viable options outside of that. ITPC (figurals), Premier (autographs), Vintage Authentics (game-used) and Bricol (misc. low-end) are the only smaller niche players I can think of.

I'll join in here and say that I would prefer monthly auctions. I know every time Hunts runs a monthly auction I know there will be something I will want and the price will be within my budget. As Mark stated, Hunts is really one of the few remaining alternatives to ebay for quality memorabilia at a fair price. Would like to see other auctions on a regular basis.
