Default Question about vintage Winchester bat

Last week my Dad bought an old Winchester bat for a dollar at a yard sale. The bat is a 2400 model. Does anyone know the possible age? Is it okay to polish the bat or is that a bad idea? thanks

Without a picture.. I'm going to say its from the 20's to 30's. Thats the typical range on them.

Yes, it is ok to clean, oil or polish as the markings should be burned in.

Default Question about vintage Winchester bat

I just sold one, it really depends on the model, just send some pictures. In general they are very collectable and some are very rare
