Default What Would You Buy?

Below are prices for a local, pickup only sale. I'm thinking grab all the 1986 Topps rack boxes, maybe an 87 rack box, and make a deal for a couple of cheap '88 Score boxes and '90 UD to try to build a set since he's got plenty available, they're both beautiful series of cards, and I may pull an '88 Gregg Jeffries or '90 Kevin Maas

Just thought I'd share, see what advice others have and see what you'd get.

Seems even the junk wax is getting interest these days, especially at lower prices. People looking for cards to grade seem to be the biggest fans from what I can see.

At those prices, I'd probably go for any of the wax other than UD. It would make a fun rip and then you could hunt for those print variations in some boxes. Star on top racks could be a decent resale item too, especially if you only have 35 cents into them.

If the 88 score are the early ones with the tufted corners I'd get them. I'd be even more interested if they were the ones with the diecut gaps moved just in from the corners. It's hard to say any 88 product is tough, but the ones with the gaps moved in were only around for a month or less and aren't easy to find.

At those prices if they're in nice condition I might just take them all. The last wax box I had and didn't want was non-sports maybe one of the Topps modern Batman sets or something like that. Got it with a bunch of other stuff I thought was good. The box was the only thing that sold, but paid for all the other junk plus a tiny bit of profit so it worked out ok.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but, at those prices, you can't lose.
