Default Baseball Art by Richard Sullivan: Amazing Work

Baseball artwork by Richard Sullivan

Richard Sullivan is an artist and a former professional baseball player. He studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) where he received a BFA in Illustration. He had the opportunity to play baseball at SCAD and to continue his interest in art and illustration. In 2008, Richard was drafted by the Atlanta Braves to play professional baseball. During this time he developed his love of watercolor and sports illustration. His art reflects his passion for sports, the human body and his love of nature. He works in a variety of styles and is always trying to learn and grow as an artist. One of his pieces was recently accepted in the Baseball Hall of Fame

Scott,

I'm sure he would appreciate an email, retweet, or even Facebook message.

Thanks for the comment Kevin. I will post more pictures once it is matted and framed. It looks even more amazing from afar.

That is amazing, Nick! I love Richard's style, and especially like the way he captured Robinson's cap in your piece.

I feel his abstract pieces look nicer when you step back and view them from a distance. Just amazing work! And with the Big Papi piece shown above, Sullivan shows he can paint with great detail, similar to that Kreindler guy.

Congrats, Nick!
