To make the hurt go away now or forever; but take solace that they were needed somewhere other than this planet. I guarantee they are doing good wherever their spirits went to.

Sorry to hear about your loss Jay. You and your wife will need each other through this tough time.

We lost our first child at 5 months also. Found out that day that it was a boy. So many emotions all at once ... mostly sadness and a feeling of loneliness. Sometimes felt nothing at all, like nothing else existed.

My condolences ...

Jay,
I cannot say how sorry I am for your loss. I found myself nearly in the same situation when our twins were born premature at 30 weeks. My wife was in the hospital flat on her back for three weeks prior to their birth; it was very touch and go. Afterward, the twins were in neo-natal ICU for 3 more weeks. It was a gut wrenching experience and lots of prayers and bargains with God were made by me.
Your's is a terrible loss, and I trust your faith and family will help get you trough this sad time.
Sincerely,
Bob Craik

Sorry to hear this, Jay. We had a couple miscarriages ourselves, and it's never easy, particularly when you've chosen a name.

My best to your family.

Jay,

I feel bad just reading your post, I can't imagine what you're going through. But from the posts above, it looks like you have a pretty nice group of peers here to offer support.

A friend of mine said something simple to me once at a very sad time that has stuck with me for some reason. "Just Keep Smiling" i.e., keep your chin up, make them proud Jay.

My sincere sympathy,

Thanks,

Andy

We want to thank everyone for your responses, especially the private messages. Several of them were very touching.
