Default More typing fun...1914-15 Cracker Jack players that also have Zeenut cards

Another in a continuing series of esoteric infomation. The following list details players in the 1914 and 1915 Cracker Jack sets that are also featured in one or more Zeenut issues. Not sure if anyone on the planet desperately needs this info...but just in case, here it blows.

1914/15 Cracker Jacks and their vivacious Zeenut companions:

5 Ward Miller - 1918 Zeenut
8 Rube Oldring - 1921
11 George Stovall - 1917
14 Sam Crawford - 1918, 20, 21
20 Cy Falkenberg - 1919
25 Mike Simon - 1917
26 Jim Scott - 1919-24
29 Vean Gregg - 1922
35 Harry Hooper - 1927
49 Dots Miller - 1922, 23
60 Rollie Zeider (1914 only) - 1920-23
62 Willie Mitchell (1915 only) - 1920
67 Doc Crandall - 1916-25, 29
79 Ping Bodie - 1915, 16, 22, 23, 28
82 Gaavy Cravath - 1921
91 Roger Peckinpaugh - 1911
92 Al Demaree - 1921
95 Ray Keating - 1920, 25-31
99 Frank Chance (1914 only) - 1916, 17
100 Tom Seaton - 1911, 19, 20
101 Frank Schulte - 1922
116 Rollie Zeider - 1920-23
117 Ted Easterly - 1918
125 Bert Niehoff - 1919-21
144 Jimmy Walsh - 1919

The following are 1915 only Cracker Jack cards:

145 Ted Cather - 1921, 23-25
150 Doc Johnston - 1923
153 Bill James - 1924-25
155 Joe Connolly - 1919, 20, 25, 26
156 Jean Dubuc - 1917, 18
163 Bert Whaling - 1916, 17
166 Joe Bush - 1929
171 Earl Hamilton - 1926

Brian (forever thanking Don McPherson and Buck Barker for their wonderful list of Zeenut players who made it to the major leagues)

Default Thankitude

Thanks David for the nice images, and thanks Rhett for making me go back and research and revise some more. Anything to discuss some Zeenuts.

Default More fun facts: T206 Portraits/T3 Cabinets HOF players

Hello, Brian. My name is Brian as well, too! It's interesting that you put together a list of the Zeenuts and Cracker Jack cards, because I recently did something similar with the T206 Portraits/T3 Turkey Red Cabinets. I even had the set created on the PSA set registry. I don't know, maybe it's a Brian thing

Here's a list of the 22 HOFer's:

Why not bump this nearly decade old thread? I have come to the firm conclusion that there is no earthly reason not to.

Why not keep a decade old thread alive with another Brian.
As usual I have very little to offer to the actual content of this thread.

I have a lot of these cards and often I want more of them.
Threads like these are enjoyable.
Do more and I’ll try to remember to read them every few years!

Recent threads have been brought back after almost 2 decades. Some of those threads can be major rabbit holes.

I can't add much to the discussion either but here are some Zs..

You would think that someone who took the time ten years ago to create such a list would have more Cracker/Zeenut matches by now.

At least I have six pairs to share.
