Love these kind of pickups! Slipping that last card into the binder feels oh so good...

This is my kind of card - presents much better than EX. Accurately graded, as there is the tiniest of indentations on the top right corner

Love the centering

Neal - I don't know how you could possibly live with that indentation! I've got a really nice mid grade Don Mossi to trade you for that crappy Mantle.
How bout it?

Seriously; That cards a beauty.
Well done.

Haven't posted in a while but just picked up a few new additions to the Mantle PC:

Grabbed this one from MattyC. Just an unbelievable image on this and some real powerful centering. This is the one early Mantle card that was still attainable in a higher grade for me and was just floored by how sharp this one was in person.

Another MattyC pick up. Every time I visit I end up spending more at his house than I do at the National. Just another card with insane image quality and centering. This card has always been a personal favorite of mine.

A small, erased pencil mark about 1/8" long on the back of the card is the reason for the qualifier. I am not one for qualifiers but was struck by the rather decent centering and clean image. Also was super cheap!

I also snagged a sweet 54 Bowman Mantle in PSA 6 from Matt but haven't scanned it just yet.

Over 60 1962 Topps Venezuelan cards including #199 & #200 and a few HOFers. Pretty rough condition but putting together and upgrading both raw and graded sets.

Wow! Love all the stuff I am seeing: Williams, Mantle, Clemente, Koufax, etc.! Then here I come with my pitiful little '65 Topps commons as I plug away at that set.

I haven't received them yet, but I am pretty stoked to be adding these cards to my 52 Topps collection.
I might have overpaid for the Monty Irvin card, but after numerous bids/acquisition attempts, I can finally say I won/own one!
Always wanted a Lopat as well, but surprisingly, it was difficult to acquire in my price range (Is that a tough card?)

The Cliff Fannin is an upgrade to the one I own in my Flickr album below.
(Figured it was the least I could considering how I obtained my cards)

It's highly unlikely I'll ever complete my set despite already owning a Mantle as I still lack too many high dollar cards such as Campanella and Mathews.

I enjoy picking up what I can when I can and adding to what I already have, but I know someday, due to those high value cards, my collecting of 52 Topps will likely come to an end, unfortunately.

Irv, I understand. They are pricey. You know, many prewar collectors chase T206 exclusively knowing that they will never have a "complete " set due to that set's Big 4. It is ironic, when it comes to '52 Topps, it isn't necessarily the Mantle alone that I like. There is just something about the look of the cards, the use of the colors that draws me in. It would take me forever, but I could probably manage the rest of the set in lower to mid grade. But I have the curse of being a completionist and just couldn't handle not being able to finish.

Was such a great event with Hank Aaron. Sat about 10 feet from him the whole time. Huge props to the Brewers Community Foundation and Hank's Chasing the Dream Foundation.

Picked this one up from a fellow board member. I had a PSA 4 awhile back but gave it up in a trade for a Magie. It's been tough trying to replace it but prices have been silly. Funny thing is that what I paid for this "1" was about the price I paid for my "4" six years ago.

My first pickup in a long time. Have been wanting this card for a couple years...ended up getting the full team set along with it.
