These are his first cards from a mainstream issue, 2003 Netpro. He has a couple of earlier "cards" from a French magazine, and also a UK card from Question of Sport I believe it is.

Note the cards pictured above are the base cards from the set. There are also glossy versions, as well as other 2003 Netpro series such as the international version. It was a massively overproduced issue so it's all very inexpensive. The 2001 and 2002 are very pricey, some laughable ebay BINs.

I've been collecting athletes from the non big 4 and agree with Peter. The 2001 is from a French publication called, I believe, Tennis Magazine. It's a cut out from the magazine and I don't believe any have been graded by the major TPGs. I'm sure the argument is whether or not it's a sports card. (See 1960 Hemmets Journal Cassius Clay. The 02 card is indeed a card from a UK set called "A Question of Sport". I would consider this his RC, personally.

BTW, I don't own either. I've been looking for about a year and the BINs are indeed pretty crazy. I haven't seen a nice graded card up for auction, so not sure what the true market price should be.

Hope this helps!

Scott

Here is the 2001 Tennis Mag cutout referenced. Only one graded by sgc and can’t find it with psa or bgs (though I’m awful at searching bgs so who knows....)
