Hi Ed,
Just say that it came from an anonymous board member. Keep em guessing!

Mystery and intrigue. What makes card collecting great. Thanks to Anonymous and everyone else on the board for their help with my project.

I've picked up a few cards the past few weeks. I won't post them all, but here are some of the highlights.

Default Old Hoss...

Radbourn... AKA "bird flipper"

Not as sharp as many of the clean/crisp OJ images I've seen posted here, but I'm psyched to finally have an example of the one and only Old Hoss. He's been on my want list for a while now. Now time for the always fun visit to his Baseball Reference page.

Default My first Cracker Jack

Here is a picture of my first Cracker Jack, and not to take this into a different direction but I won the CJ from a Probstein auction and I didn't have to pay my high bid. I was hoping I could smell the caramel on the card but no luck.

Default Back Stamps...up to five of these!

I don't usually grab T206's...unless they have my favorite back stamp...I live to think the cards present MUCH better than thier technical grade, too!

If you have any of these lying around...I am interested in picking them up!

Default A couple of nice supplements

I try and pick these up from time to time when I see them in good shape--these are from the first year; in fact, Bresnahan was the first issued(that area of white in the "clouds" is actually part of the photograph as adapted for the supplement and is not staining):

Glad to add this one. Has been a bit undervalued for a long time imo for a card you don't see too often.

My only non caramel pick up from the B & L auction, and my first T205. The images of the minor league players in this set are amazing, with the John Nee being my favorite.

Default Williams College 1889 Baseball Photo

Couldn't be happier about this pickup from Scott Forrest's site: http://www.belltownvintagecards.com/default.asp.

Great item, nice price and amazingly fast cross-country delivery!

FYI - the second player from the left in the back row is Artie Clarke, who played in 1890 and 1891 for the New York Giants.

New Pickup. Nothing special just wanted to get my focus back on cards.
