Nothing fancy, but another E-type checked off the list. First card in a while that I picked up. Thanks Mike (on the BST)!

Nice Mordecai PC, Jeff. You don't come across those every day. Most people who have them rarely want to part with them.

Very nice, Quan. Something to tide you over until you find a T206 Plank.

Default T206 Gibson - Hindu

Same here, Rob!

Been looking for this one since someone started me on this insane quest (Hi Richard!). Gibson is complete at 10 cards ... only 50 more Pirates to go in the never-ending chase.

Got these two today. The Homerun Baker was purchased from forum member Iggyman via ebay. Iggy is an A+ seller, got the card to Canada in just over a week! Many thanks!

Once again Mike, that Gibson is incredible.

Congratulations on completing that run!

By the way, only 50 left? That's pretty impressive.

Regards,

Richard.

This is my own scan of what finally came in! I posted this much earlier in the thread. Now it is in hand and has a better picture!

Needed a cost effective diversion, so I picked a Kentucky boy. I will always be a T206 back addict I guess!!!!
Mr. Howie Camnitz. I missed an autograph the other night and am kicking myself for that miss, but am now up to nine Howie cards.

Default The Camnitzes

Nice pickups, Bob!

Not sure how widely known or believed it is, but some say the arm-at-side pose is not Howie, but Harry, his younger brother. His career (if you could call it that) consisted of only a couple of appearances... 1 in 09 with Pittsburgh and then 2(?) in 1911 with the Cardinals.

Both ended up here in Louisville, and are buried with their respective families in Cave Hill cemetery. Slightly morbid, but the cemetery is actually a great place to visit in the spring as it is also a well-known, well-kept arboretum.

Thanks for the info. I may try to swing past there this summer. It has been a while since I have been back in the area.

If anyone has any Camnitz info, I would love to see it.

Thanks,
Bob
