Default Ravens vs Bears Baltimore blizzard

I waited to post this until I got some pictures back.

I own a 2002 Mack tri-axel dumptruck. My brother-in-law and I were hired to clear M&T Bank Stadium for the Ravens/Bears game. We worked 30 hours straight from early Saturday until 12 noon Sunday game day. 700 people to clear the stadium and not all were paid. They brought 20 or 30 vans full of inmates to shovel out the seats. They shoveled the upper deck to the lower deck and then to the field. The snow total was 22.5 inches. Largest snow fall since 2002.

Cool pics Jim!

You guys worked really hard preparing a place for the Bears to get their butts kicked.

Thats pretty wild Jim I guess we don't think of all the work that goes into getting the field ready for a game after a storm like that. I hope they let the inmates watch the game so they could see how the hard work they did helped everybody out !

Default Another blizzard in Maryland

I live close to Baltimore Washington International Airport and we are having another blizzard. I am heading out the door and probably won't be home until Sunday when the Super Bowl comes on. Should have some extra coin for some southern league cards-like a 211 Hart-hope you are reading this David-I bet it is sunny and 80 where you are..

We have a foot of snow on the ground and it is coming down and I m pretty sure it is going to snow for the next 24 to 30 hours.
