Default Any restaurant recommendations for Portland, Maine?

Heading there soon.
Our activities are pretty much planned but I can always use some restaurant recommendations.

My wife and I stayed on Peak's Island for our Honeymoon.

We both enjoyed DiMillo's on the main land.

You nearly can't go wrong with seafood restaurants there.
The Great Lost Bear is good for burgers and such, and has a vast beer selection.

Portland Seadogs stadium. Set up along the lines of Fenway Park, has many different Maine brewed beers (Shipyard my fav). For food better than average for stadiums with the highest mark gong to the seadog bisquet(cookie ice cream Bar). A+++ for atmosphere though !

I am going to a game there against the Binghamton Mets.
Thanks for that tip.

Just tried that link several times and then googled the restaurant and am being blocked from the site by a password request.

That is strange because I tried going there this morning and had the same issue. Last night when I was trying to recall the name the website was up and working. This may just be a fluke website issue today.

Portland is awesome. Great restaurants! This was the wife and my favorite places that we went to:

Emilitsa
547 Congress Street, Portland, ME 04101

Then, when you are done there, definitely walk to this place for dessert and get the salted caramel cake and a glass of Port:

The Bar of Chocolate Cafe
38 Wharf St, Portland, ME 04101

A nice breakfast place in Portland is Becky's on Commercial Street.

Just north of Portland (15 minutes) is a very fine restaurant, Falmouth Foreside Tavern, on U.S. Rte. 1

Ted,
We are staying in a B&B so do not need a breakfast place.
Might get to the other recommendation though.
Thanks to all for their recommendations.
I am pretty sure I will be getting to that Bar of Chocolate dessert place .

If you have time, make sure to stop by The Holy Donut. Definitely a treat not to be missed.

Brett,
I have been doing so well on my diet and have lost a lot of excess weight in the last 7 months.
I just took a look at the website of the Holy Donut and damn,,, .
But vacations are not for dieting .
Thanks for the rec. I think we will give it a try.

My Daughter and Grandson live in Portland (Maine); and, every summer we visit them we stay in Falmouth. Lodging there during the summer months
is much more reasonable than in Portland. And, that is why I suggested the Falmouth Foreside Tavern.

Anyhow, there certainly are numerous good restaurants in Portland to choose from.

I grew up there. I would go Salt Water Grille. Sit out on the deck go around sunset. I would then go front room. Also dimillios is great and they have stepped up their game.

For cards
Check out Don's Baseball Cards as well been around for ever and have some nice stuff.

Thanks. I usually opt for in town places to stay, just for the convenience. And we did find a relatively reasonable B&B.

Hope this isn't too late:

25 Long Wharf, Portland, ME 04101

It has now been 8 years so I can't remember a lot of details. What I do remember was that though I don't like seafood, I did enjoy the seafood there.
