It is my understanding the "blank back" on T206 cards is pretty scarce? I can't recall ever seeing that image of Jennings on a card? Is it real?

the front of the card looks good to me...the back...who knows? his grading is certainly optimistic...blank backs are definitely rare...but I'm not sure if I could tell if it's a true blank back from those scans.

You've never seen a "two hands showing" T206 Jennings? There are others on eBay right now. How long have you been collecting?

This card has been relisted on ebay numerous times in the last few months. Kinda Weird?

Here is one of my examples, but this one has a sweet cap. back.

looks like a Dremel buffing wheel had been used to polish the back.

that it is inaccurate to refer to it as a "proof". I always thought that a proof would have the cross checks (+) in each of the four borders and that there would be no name.

I've shown a number of altered cards, not to predict doom or show-off but for instances just like this.

As you have seen, blank T206 cards (and others) can be made and if skillfully done, are somewhat undetectable. Most, if almost all, are detectible though. Then again, many are the real deal.

Luckily scans can sometimes have a blacklight or halogen effect. In other words, show flaws and imperfections. IMO the back of this particular card, as it is displayed, illuminates how an altered card is typically seen under a blacklight.

Knowing what you know now, would anyone still seriously consider buying this card or cards like it? If so, the idea it can be altered has to be a factor or an underlying thought now.

Probably missing one of the color runs, nothing more, nothing less.

The guy is selling graded cards as well. I'd suspect that means this card isn't even a good alteration, but who knows.

I am not vouching for this card as I have no experience with blank backs, but I have had many transactions with this seller and they have all been satisfactory. I purchased t205s from him for the most part.

edited for speeling, I mean, spelling

I don't think that SGC will grade a blank back T206 from what I have seen, I have no idea about PSA does. I sure PRO would?

That would be the only way I would buy a blank backed T206.
