1897 managers Fowler and McCormick pay attention to the man on the far left in suit
Here is another photo from my dad’s collection. The front appears to be an older car cabinet photo from the late 19 century of two teams : rising sun and Bradner ( I live in Indiana and there is a rising sun in Ohio ). The back describes the various players/positions and information. It states: managers Fowler and McCormick. My immediate attention was drawn to the man on the far left wearing a black suit. But Fowler managed a A baseball team at the end of his career in the late 19th century. My dad has an entry in his notes labeled 1897 JohN. The date on the photograph is 1897 and I know that Bud Fowler’s name is John. I don’t mean to try to pinpoint only notorious ball players, however the first half of his collection that I was able to identify did have notable players. I needed help identifying players and or league.
The first link is a photograph of the photograph and the second link is the back the photograph and the information https://drive.google.com/open?id=1eS...qVkO8SLZvuwkyC https://drive.google.com/open?id=11U...pY7ej-xMFxjg_D |
