Default interesting Conlon collection photo

This one is really interesting. At least I haven't seen it before. It's the StL NA 1875 Brownstockings club. The available download resolution is poor, but I can make out:

? - George Bradley - Herman Dehlman

Ned Cuthbert - Joe Battin - ? - Lip Pike - ? - ? - Dickey Pearce - Bill Hague? - ?

on floor: Jack Chapman

The Conlon Collection also has this one. It's the StL NL 1876 club. I wrote about it in:
http://sabr.org/cmsFiles/Files/Mysteryphoto2-11.pdf

It includes:
Joe Blong - George Bradley - Herman Dehlman

Joe Battin – John Clapp – Tim McGinley – Lipman Pike – Mike McGeary - Dickey Pearce - Denny Mack

reclining:
Ned Cuthbert

Very interesting that they would be offering those, as Conlon didn't take the photos. The fact that the images are blurry implies that whatever glass negative they have is at least 2nd generation. I guess Conlon's news service did the same thing Bain's did.

Scott - the 1875 image is blurry because as available for free download from John Rogers' site it is low resolution. I would guess that the purchased print would be much better.

The 1876 image is sharper because I had obtained it from HoF for the article.

But the other images on his site aren't blurry. Do you think that Conlon somehow got hold of the original 1875 glass negative for that image?

If you look at the NY Giants team photo, it's about the same as the 1875 StL photo. The faces are much smaller than most of the other photos in the collection - so low resolution will be more apparent. I do think it's just a scanning issue.
