Default Best Auto You Own

What is the best autograph you own, the one you show off the most? Don't really quite know mine, but maybe these:

Probably this one, because even most casual baseball fans have heard of the black sox scandal, and because it was my first from that team.

I have some cool signed Killebrew items (including 2 sheets each signed nine times by Harmon, testing pens for autographs that I got from Sean here) but this is still my favorite item:

It's not worth all that much but I just really like it.

Probably the least pricey one I have. A ball that Mike Mordecai signed for me, inscribed: "Happy Purim"

OK, as a WWII baseball collector and researcher, STOP POSTING THIS LETTER!!! You are killing me by rubbing my nose in it!

Or, better yet, sell it to me cheap!

Sorry,, .
He was such a great guy too.
And he went to my high school, years before me of course. And then Ed Kranepool came along and broke all of Greenberg's school records.

Default Here are couple of my favorite Walter Johnson sigs in the collection

It's tough to pick a favorite, because I have many that I really like. Here are two of my favorite signatures of Walter Johnson in my personal collection.

The first is a signed and dated vintage photo of Walter Johnson in his final year in baseball. Walter penned this autograph literally weeks before he threw his last strikeout and played his last game...

I picked up this terrific signed index card from another Net54 board member a few months ago. Everything about this card screams outstanding. It was signed just before WaJo began his stint as manager of the Cleveland Indians in 1929. Here is a look at the front side and verso. Awesome!

A couple of my favorites. The 1933 Indians autograph page is my best purchase on eBay to date. The seller didn't realize the autographs he had. I saw Walter Johnson and realized it was good immediately. He added this to eBay 45 minutes before I saw it. $ 75.00 BIN.

The Ruth signed grocery receipt is just a cool looking signature.
