Default Topps Mantle Madness

The 52' Topps Mantle, in PSA 1, is now going for around $30,000 US. This is absolutely insane and I wish I had my SGC 50 back! And do you guys want to know what else I find crazy? A 1951 Bowman Mantle ROOKIE (yes, I put the word in big letters) recently sold for only $34,600 US. This is pretty close to how much a 52' Topps Mantle goes for in PSA 1. Just when I thought the 51' Bowman was catching up, and now it looks like the gap is getting wider!

Was the PSA 1 nice? That’s some serious money. I wish I’d held on to my duplicate….

What grade was the 51 mantle that sold for $34k?

I only have two Mantle cards, but they are the gem of my collection.
