How strange is this that he signed the picture 1934?

Maybe he was ASKED to put 1934 on it for a birthday present or the like.

Default I find it extremely odd.....

u can see the error if it was in January, but this photo had to be taken in April or May, who forgets what year it is by that time. Also, most of his signs you don't see a year, so odd it would be on this one.......that being said, it's possible.

I see it was signed to Jimmie Donohue. I know there was a plethora of items released that were personalized to him as he was supposedly a close freind of the Ruth's. But it still strikes me as strange he would sign something 1934 that could not have existed until maybe April 1935...
