Default Ebay purchase: Were these reproduced??

I took a chance having never owned one of these, a PM1 Ornate pin of Mathewson. Doing a quick Google search, I see where only 3 or 4 of these have ever sold. Just wondering if the pin back folks can give me some advice as what are any tell tale signs if they were ever faked.

Thanks folks.

Greg

Hi Greg,
I would like to see a shot of the back are the small clasps bent over at all? This one does look good to me as alot of the ornate frames tend to have the gold peel a little. As for repros I have seen real frames with fake pics put inside. But like I said this one looks good to me. Al
