Tax stamp isn't a Dewitt/Clinton. Also box & tax stamp is for cigars, not cigarettes.

He also has these present auctions:

1. A Piedmont box that has a 1901 date on the tax stamp that he claims is a T206 box.
2. A Helmar box that doesn't have any date on it which he claims is a T332 box.
3. An Richmond Straight Cut box from Liggett & Myers without any claims.

It's nice to see more and more people getting interested in these boxes. Hopefully, the prices will skyrocket soon.

Education is key. Know what your bidding on. I'm willing to answer any questions you might have on T206 boxes, etc.

I'll certainly take you up on the help.
Many thanks.
Since the Monster is nearly slain, i have found myself making some displays
of key 206 cards and 206 era boxes. Thus far, I've been very fortunate to get the majority of my boxes from folks on N54.
My favorite is the AB with all the cigarettes and graded a 9.
I also have a sweet cap,a piedmont,an epdg----and a Mecca,2 Recruits(one on the way),a Pirate. The non206,but near the 206 era,are displayed with their representative cards which i do not collect but enjoy with the packs.

all the best,
barry

that your American Beauty box is sweet - but not T206 period. It's the closest I've seen - displays beautifully - and I have one in my collection as well.....

you're right; it's a bit before the true 206 era and it is a beaut!
i like your word better; it is sweet!
I've found myself using 206 'ERA' a wee bit loosely and being ok with it.
It gives me the opportunity to put the 1912 Pirate pack on display and the
sweet '05 AB as well.
The others i have are safely within the 09-11 period.
Do you think we'll ever get to see a true 206 era AB pack?
Many thanks for your help.
I very much appreciate this new area of research and the community of pack scholars i'm getting to know.
all the best,
barry

This guy has had these auctions up for over a year. I'm glad no one has bought any, because they're all from 1914.
